Is This A Miracle?
O.K. football fans. Was that a great finish to the Saints, Vikings game, or what?
It was a great night of redemption for the city of New Orleans, that's for sure. While men and women were laughing through their tears on Sunday night, it wasn't long ago when the Superdome was darkly symbolic of Hurricane Katrina and its horrors, a home for thousands seeking a shelter of last resort.
At last, the people of the Bayou received an inspirational gift that can be vital to self-esteem and the ongoing recovery mission, surviving the will of a battered 40 year old Brett Favre to reach overtime and then gain a 31-28 victory via a game-winning field goal by a kicker who had a premonition the night before.
What else would you expect in the land of voodoo and beads but a foretelling?
"I couldn't sleep and I called my dad at 2:30 in the morning," said kicker Garrett Hartley.
"I told him, 'Dad, I think I'm gonna kick the game-winner, 42 yards by the right hash.'
Almost five minutes into the extra period, there was the ball, spotted on the right hash mark, 40 yards from the uprights. "That was an amazing feeling, a very surreal thing, two yards away,'' Hartley said. "I've never believed in stuff like that.''
Well this is one of those times when experience grants belief. He may not have had a belief in anything like that before but now, because of his experience, he does.
You know, in that regard, animals are better than us. They have particular attributes given to them by the creator that allows them to be themselves and survive. They have claws and fur and a great sense of smell and so on.
Animals are really connected to their soul. That's how they live in the flow of life.
They also have tremendous intuition, which we as humans have in short supply.
It's there but mostly buried and rarely utilized. Occasionally, as with what happened on Sunday, it rocks to the forefront unbidden. Wouldn't it be absolutely fantastic if we could tap into it more often and on a regular basis or at will?
Some people do have that ability, and some of my Dr. Dharma Doers have developed a heightened sense of that state of being-ness.
For example Susan from Santa Fe wrote in and told me that since he's joined The Mediation Club, the exact right people have been appearing in her life just when she needs them to help her create maximal success in her new business.
And she doesn't have to dream it either. It happens consciously and quite often.
There is nothing quite like effortless success.
It's way beyond the basic law of attraction.
You can have it all.
But here's my problem. Not enough of you have joined my new Meditation Club for 2010. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's the economy or something like that or a misperception that you can't afford it.
So let me dash that right now. It's more like you can't afford not to. But only if you want to be totally cool, ultimately healthy, and as successful as you desire.
After all, the cost is only 34 cents a day. Are you kidding me?
The return is unbelievable.
So here's what's up right now.
Last night Martin asked me what we should change (raise) the price on the Meditation Club to. I thought about it and said, "Don't raise it."
Why? Because not enough of you are taking advantage of this amazing opportunity.
You really need to meditate with me and see how your life improves and fast.
Don't believe me. I don't want you to. Be like the kicker. Have the experience. Then you'll win the Super Bowel of life.
Check out the still low price and revised format now. http://www.drdharma.com/meditationclub
As they say in tennis, "Come on."
And when you do, I'll answer like they do in tennis as well with a hearty,
"Well done."
Best of Blessings,
