Some seasons of life ask more of the heart than others. From Darkness to Light is a gentle, guided practice for tender times — a way to meet hard experiences and the weight of painful emotions with kindness, and to invite a little more ease and light back in.
Led by Dr. Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D., this unhurried practice moves slowly and softly. It begins with a few centering breaths, flows through simple exercises for self-love and an open heart, settles into a quiet meditation, and closes in stillness — so you can rest, and carry its calm with you.
In this practice you'll:
- Tune in and settle, breathing slowly through the nose
- Move gently — blessing yourself, opening the heart, and lifting your energy
- Rest into a quiet, focused meditation to ease stress and soften emotional weight
- Close in stillness, letting everything settle and carrying the light forward
This is tender work, and it can stir up real feeling. Give yourself an unhurried hour and a private, quiet space. Go at your own pace, take breaks whenever you need them, and be kind to yourself as you go. If difficult emotions ever feel like too much to hold alone, please reach out to someone you trust or a qualified professional.
